Our Pumkin Carving Contest

In order to let the students get a little more acquainted with available software, this sketch exercise asked them to produce a night-view of a pumkin, requiring the use of Boolean operations and light source manipulation, as well as image storage to disk.

The resulting images were then dropped into the web-page template that you see here, which includes an illustrative "pop-up" javascript showing them how they might present an enlarged view of the thumbnail pumkin.
